I am having all sorts of mixed feelings about people this morning. My general, underlying feeling always is is one of mistrust and that feeling is alive and well, let me tell you.
We had a meeting at the local Township Hall last night on a variance concerning a piece of land that happens to also contain an easement addendum allowing our 3 back lots on the golf course lake front access. Everything SEEMS on the up and up....eh, but I don't know.
It got quite emotional for some folks because they have a lot more at stake then us...that easement is their ONLY lake access for their HOME whereas we live on the lake itself then have the 3 additional lots across the road bordering the golf course.
There was a couple I have known my entire life and I saw a rather ugly side to them that quite honestly I never expected...I really was disappointed in them, it was bitter, selfish, petty and frankly vicious toward other good people. It's left me feeling less then good about "my fellow man" this morning...
There seems to be more of that than usual going on the last few months - seeing a mean, petty side to people you thought you "knew". I too am having a hard time keeping my faith in the basic goodness of humanity. Hold to the fact that it still upsets you to see it, which reflects well on you, my friend.

Even when it's constructive criticize it's helpful, caring and done out of concern and love. Not seeing a lot of that in the day to day world right now...I appreciate you B, Thanks!
