Big game for 'da Boyz in Black tonight...at Mini in the Bigm 'ole Barn they call a gym....I love that place, an old Field House. I think w/out a doubt their toughest game in the league so far. I'm impressed the way they have adjusted to the loss of Robbie Hummel (thank god that injury happened before the season started) and have become a damn fine B-Ball team all on their own.
JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore have risen to the occasion plus they are getting great play from the other starters and the bench. Ryne Smith a little known guard before late last season, has stepped up in the Big Ten season and become an honest to god player in his own right. he was Big ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week last wk w/ Jared Sullinger from Ohio State, not bad company really!
So, this boy is gonna finish cooking his Shrimp Scampi/Pasta and have his big 'ole butt in the chair at 7pm ESPN for the 8th ranked Purdue Boilermakers at the Minnesota Golden Gophers...
All right boys, time to:
BOILER UP!
